i am going to link all the sites i use to look up information or to order products like emergency rations etc.

the main reason i do this, is so that other people can prepare as much as they can for the shit storm.

also if my puter dies i won't lose my favorite links.  selfish of me huh.

anyway, here goes.

disclaimer and such----------

i am not affiliated with any of these sites and make NO money from them.  most of them were found right here on latoc and i just added them to my favorites menu.  some i looked up using a search engine.  i have actually purchased very little from ANY of these sites that sell something.  mostly because they are more expensive than what i want to pay.

if matt offers any product in any of these links you should buy it from him since he is the reason we are even here to read this stuff. and loyalty is a good thing.

there is tons of information and downloadable books and free online recipes and well...you get the idea.  if this helps anyone great, if you find that little gem of information that you want in these links    wonderful.  if you don't like them i apologize.  i am putting these out to everyone just so they can look up information for themselves and hopefully save  a lot of time for people.

enjoy your hours and hours and hours and hours and hours of reading.  i know i did.

Hi, Lady-T,

I found you because my company "made your list" (Best Prices Storable Foods) and one of your readers visited it.  Thank you!

I wanted to alert you--and anyone else interested--that yesterday we opened a FREE classified site dedicated to helping people buy or sell firearms from/to people IN THEIR OWN STATE.  As it turns out, it's legal in MANY states to buy/sell/trade firearms between INDIVIDUALS without having to register the transaction nor to report it to any government agency.

(Of course, there ARE precautions the seller should take to protect himself/herself in case of illegal use of the weapon, like get a photocopy of driver's license, a signed receipt for the weapon, etc., which can be found elsewhere online.)

At any rate, for anyone interested, you can visit the IN-STATE FIREARMS SALES classified website at:

http://www.internet-grocer.net/cgi/classif/classifieds.cgi

As I said, it's brand new, so firearms-for-sale are scarce at the moment, but feel free to post a firearm-for-sale, or a want-to-buy. There is NO CHARGE for this service, not even for posting a photo .... and please tell your friends!

Best wishes to all!

if you have a good prep/survival link post it here.  nothing you are affiliated with or make money off of (unless you are matt).  but i am sure my list isn't a complete list of all sites.

It's a very ecclectic list, to be sure. Sorry, but I didn't organize it very well by topic.

But here's one just for fun - definitely good for a few laughs:
