...I just reviewed todays Breaking News Section and I am completely over whelmed. I have been reading this section since 2004, I don't post much but today I can not understand why some displaced individual is not breaking down my door trying to kill me and steal my resources because HIS FAMILY IS STARVING, HE HAS NO JOB, NO SAVINGS, NO FUTURE, NO FOOD and HIS KIDS ARE CRYING BECAUSE THEY ARE GOING WITHOUT. I am completely confused. Is this what the PTB want, confuse the educated and aware until the last minute until it can no longer be covered up. Yes, of course they do. Its one lie and band aid after another.
I don't wish for anything bad to happen but simply can not understand what I mention above has not happened. Being poor in America when you were once middle class and spending money like no tomorrow can not be a good thing. S**T, I am middle class and if this happened to me and my wife and two kids were affected by this I would be out of control. There are so many people to be mad at, Im referring to out GVT and Wall Street slime. AMERICA as we know it is F****D, and DONE.
I believe life as we won't knew it was over as of 7/2005, that when RE rolled over. No what? We are BROKE. Trillions in debt, TRILLIONS folks, F*****G TRILLIONS. Can we even wrap our heads around this F*****G number? I Can't. We are so SCREWED.
Lastly, the ONLY way out of this is situation is a HYPERINFLATIONARY scenario, thats my belief. Iys the only option remaining. Something worse that the 70's, much worse.
Sleep tight.

Good rant.
Never underestimate the power of The American Hologram. Go to a place where there is a teevee screen in public and observe the slackjawed zombies staring at it. Marx said religion was the opiate of the masses, but he was speaking before the invention of the picture tube.
As long as the government keeps the unemployment checks coming and the MSM continues to pull the strings on the puppet people, things will hold together. When their grip does finally slip, that's when things fall apart.
Sweet dreams.

Thank you for your reply. I feel like im going to explode. For example...my stupid F*****G neighbor who nearly lost her hse this summer cause her husbands hrs were scaled back to 30 from 60+ is now happy again because the hrs are back upto 40+ and she is back at walmart and the FedEx man now comes thinks all is back to normal again. God I wanna smack her to wake her up. What a F*****G idiot she is.
Seriously, I talk to her, and because she can go to walmat to buy fabricated pieces of plastic from China for her two kids she thinks all is back to what it was in 2004/5. God, what a moron.

Relax! Be Happy that we aren't YET in the dark ages. An I seriously doubt your ready for a collapse. Use the time to learn, build and prep. FWIW: I don't expect a full blown collapse for at least another 6 to 10 years. But that doesn't mean things won't continue to get worse, or even much worse.

OK, let's say, Darwin forbid, your family was affected by it. And you break down someone's door. Would you feel better?

Nice rant indeed. I too, am absolutely amazed.
I get in a full elevator today and unfortunately have to listen to two talking about some unbelievable deal one got on a new pair of shoes, on sale for $280, in time for the in laws rolling in. Also, she was saying that she is having a catorer cook the entire thanksgiving dinner.only $430..she is going to pick it up and stop by the liquour store to pick up the recommdended wine the catorer suggests (and I guess hock the meal as her own). The other one coughed up a hairball about the $50 tip she gave her hairdresser over lunch....to help her get through the holidays. I hope (naw, I would almost bet) that hairdresser and her colleques laugh at the shallowness.
Your story, amoung other emotions that crept up, makes me believe that if we ever do have a fast crash....these folks are gonna freak. Seriously - freak - out.

TINAT, You are the patriot. You are the one who has insight into what is happening. It would be easier to be your neighbor dreaming about what you will be buying in Walfart, but to you is given the vision. The trouble is, the curse of Cassandra. She was given the gift of prophecy, but then cursed by Apollo so that no one would believe her. A lot of us here find that we can see what is coming, but we are not believed. Be the patriot. Lead your neighbors and family.

Several reasons why people aren't breaking down your door, for one, you probably don't live in one of the Detroit slums, so you are still insulated. Two, people are cattle. They are easily herded and led. They run to food and to get their unemployment and welfare checks. Funny how the Rodney King riots came to a halt when the welfare checks came out. The masses quit their rampage and nicely lined up, just like the Jews going to Nazi camps. All in all, the elites that run the gov't learned from history, aka the French Revolution, that a modern welfare system is needed to appease the cattle and keep them from stampeding.
In my short tenure of having goats and a few other farm animals, I quickly learned how easy it was to control 60 goats. All herd animals, like goats, are motivated by greed (food) and fear. If I wanted them to come to me, I fed them. If I wanted the to move from me, I yelled and scared them. People are no different. The gov't herds us through greed (welfare and other benefits) and fear (you might be on the list).

Never underestimate the power of The American Hologram. The matrix goes very, very deep. I think just about everyone is pretty shocked they've kept the plate spinning. I think the LONGER the plate spins the worse it will be when it finally goes flying off. This is why I think there will be a fast crash.

That old expression, "Hope springs eternal," exists for a reason. People cling to hope as long as they can, against all evidence, when its obvious to onlookers that there should be no reason left to hope.
A few days ago I watched the PBS documentary on the Dust Bowl of the 1930s. There were many farmers in the southern plains who stayed in their farms, despite the drought, despite the wind storms, year after year, and went hungry rather than accept the fact that the topsoil of their farms had blown away and was never coming back. They just prayed for rain. They were always sure that next year would be better. Then the next year... then the next year... it was 4 or 5 years before the mass migration of the farmers began as they faced reality and moved away from the area to find work elsewhere.
For us to see a big change in people's mindset today, I think we'll need to see a few more years of bad news. A few more years of mass unemployment, hunger, and dislocation from foreclosed homes. Only then will people really begin to "get it." And heaven help us when they do start to get it...

What the F**K is wrong with people. WHERE ARE THE PATRIOTS? WHERE THE HELL ARE THEY?
several questions. 1) Do you consider yourself a patriot. 2) If so, what have you done backing that up. 3) What would people have to do for you to call them a patriot. I feel like people are lackinbg a coherant vision of what could be. I think you can't sell people on pure doom. The cost is too high and the only real response is basically to go to war and hope you're one of the survivors. You have to give people a vision of what could be. I've spent this year playing poker and coding a video game. I couldn't exactly call myself a patriot. I've spent some time reading political history which I think is a first step down the patriot road, but there's no real action to back it up.I also spent about a year and a half prepping and trying to tell everyone around me why they need to do the same, even giving out starter prep boxes at christmas one year. Again, a first step, but way short. I've spent time prepparing a personal doomstead, but somehow personal prepping doesn't seem patriotic, whereas community prep might be... maybe helping to organise a community garden, possibly to serve as a model so that participants could spread the knowledge when the time comes. I've also been thinking about the need for energy efficiency as a business opportunity. Organizing discussions around political history could also be a good idea. Such discussions should be functional, planting seeds in such a way that participants are equipped to spread the knowledge. And again, presently, the market for such is small, but it's finding the right few people and laying the groundwork that's important. If you want patriots, first, be the patriot. Take action. Doing nothing cedes the action to politicians. Being part of the solution, so to speak, has been on my mind a lot lately. Granted, I haven't really taken action either, but then, I'm not the one calling for other people to be patriots. John
