I am really enjoying this book about our crazy overcommercialized Amerikun holiday as celebrated deep in the heart o'Texas.  The writer followed three people for three years (2006 -2009) - one woman who decorates others' McMansions for big bucks, one guy who goes over the top with the light displays on his house, and one woman who goes to a megachurch.  Very interesting and very well written.  All I can say is thank God I don't live in the Bible Belt!  (irony intended Wink).  Really Kunstleresque in the descripition of the town too.
