Ayn Rand was very clear that we should deal with people using neither force, nor fraud. Mtlouie's portrayal of Objectivist ideals are not accurate at best, and fraudulent at worst because she can't recall basic details of the story of Atlas Shrugged, but says she read, understood, and summarily rejected the philosophy.
Fraud of the highest sort. "Objectivists" like to pretend that capitalism just happened, conveniently leaving out the fact that it was instituted by FORCE and has been maintained and expanded by FORCE, ie Enclosures, starting in England, followed by imperialism.  I knew a bunch of "objectivists" when i was a freshman   in Fall '65 and joined the Young Conservative Club. I thank them for shaking my faith in capitalism, as i learned how they sympathized with slumlords and polluters. A bunch of well-off brats.
My favorite Randist ejaculation, years later, was a top person in the Ayn Rand Institute writing a defense of Columbus and the European invasion of the Americas and decimation of the indigenous population, upon the occasion of the 500th anniversary of Columbus's journey, he asserted that the indigenous peoples were just wasting the place by not utilizing it to maximum productivity and efficiency, and good riddance.

Yeah, welcome back, Peelo!

Lord, Animus, it's been years since I read that shit.  PLEASE do not make me go back and read it again!!!  Look, if the "Libertarians" are touting it, I don't need to re-read it.  It's shit.  That's good enough for me.

Honey, you are not one of "them."  You never will be.  But if you want to pretend.....well, okay, whatever it takes to make it through this strange world.  I'm beginning to think it doesn't matter one whit what we "believe."  The great game player is going to do whatever he/she/it/they want.

I totally agree that bankers control the economy and the UK and US governments, and are systematically orchestrating their collapse using force and fraud.

That means they are not Objectivists.

Now see how this relates to Marxism and how it doesn't work in the REAL world??

Among other things ... Cheesy
To me it's clear that Rand just ignores hundreds of years of western philosophy and thinking, to make up her own theory. It's like writing a book on gravity and ignoring Newton. You can't ignore Kant anymore than you can ignore Newton.  Her followers are far more interesting than her theories.

Bingo! Galt's radio address was the height of tedious rambling. I read the first few pages of that and skipped to the end. How I managed to finish the rest of that piece of crap is beyond me.

Goldman Sachs was not preaching anything new.  A few years ago New York Goldman Sachs had their very own chaplain and motivational speaker. (External Embedding Disabled)

There are the Dollar Ministries.

Even the US Military has a Chaplain who preaches the gospel of money.
