That's the best, most fitting review of the movie yet.

I really can't wait to see this.  The review seems to paint its director as somewhat more cruel than other reviews, but it's particularly interesting that the common thread coming from all this is that Ruppert and his evidence hold up to questioning.

Does your neighbor need convincing? Or, will this be preaching to the choir?

I saw the movie, and really didn't think Chris Smith was being cruel -- he was just playing devil's advocate for the uninitiated audience. Ruppert held his own, and that was impressive.

Here's a new one from Hammer To Nail, which as it happens, is one of the biggest if not the biggest film site for and by filmmakers. The fact that the review gets the gist and applauds the movie is pretty notable. Basically, every NY hipster is going to see this movie: http://www.hammertonail.com/genre/documentary/collapse-documentary-review/

I honestly think when they sign up, they should have a 30 day non-posting reprieve and be required to read all of Matt's stuff.

I agree, the only way to test it is to call them on it when they make the same ol' same ol' brainless remarks.
