I am an optimist ... did I mention we are doomed?

A friend just sent me this wonderful link to a small company which builds sustainable houses from round wood. If you are into green building, have a look at their pics, they are beatiful.

I also like their Community Supported Forestry program. If you live anywhere near Stoddard, Wi, check it out. It might be a great opportunity to support a good initiative and benefit in many ways (free firewood, workshops on all kinds of things like bee keeping and maple syruping, access to lumber etc.). If you ever wanted to own your own forest, this might be a way to do it.
