It would be an enormous oversimplification to say that oil price 'caused' the world recession,
but the fact that the price spike and the economic crisis occurred at the same time is hardly meaningless coincidence.

I read the article.  It seems that the Fort Hood murder was in fact a terrorist, under this person's own definition.

Bingo, the whole point is that labeling someone a terrorist clouds any real analysis or insight about who they were and what they did.  No one sees themselves as a terrorist, they all see themselves as soldiers.

I'm not sure what that proves.  Even the serial killer who chops up his victims and stores them in his freezer has some moral justification for what he is doing.  I think it is a rare individual who truly believes that his actions are evil.

During his nearly four-month stay in apartment No. 9, Hasan made few friends. Most other tenants didn't know his name, referring to him as "Number Nine ."  in reference to apt. numbers.

As he walked up steps to his apartment, they would snicker at him, said the woman, who lived several doors down. She agreed to describe her relationship with Hasan only on the condition of anonymity because she did not want to face retribution. Portions of her account were confirmed by other residents.

"Everyone else just sat down there and drunk their beer and looked at him and giggled at him," the woman said, starting to cry. "They just would laugh at him when he walked down with his Muslim clothes. . . . He was mistreated. He didn't have nobody. He was all alone. He went to his apartment there and was all alone."

In mid-August, just a few weeks after moving to Killeen, Hasan had a run-in with a soldier living in apartment No. 12. One night after he had been drinking, John Van de Walker scraped a key along the full length of the passenger's side of Hasan's car.

On Tuesday, Hasan went to greet neighbor Patricia Villa, who had moved into apartment No. 8 a few weeks earlier. He gave her a Koran translated into Spanish. When Villa told him she read English, he returned the next day with a copy in English, she said.

Hasan saw that Villa, who makes tamales for a living, and her husband had little furniture. The living room was empty, except for a gold cross nailed near the door. She said Hasan told her he was being deployed to the war zone and would be gone for six months. So he brought Villa his microwave, four folding chairs, three small wooden shelves, an inflatable mattress, some new clothing and the steamer he used to press his uniforms.

"Not even your family will give you all this for free," Villa  was quoted as sayin.

On Thursday morning, Hasan asked Villa whether she would clean his apartment and return the key to the manager's office. He paid her $60 and said he would leave the key under ,her, Villa's doormat. When she returned home that afternoon, police and investigators were swarming her neighbor's apartment. The key wasn't there.

why does this have to be made to be different than
mass shootings at:
Shopping malls
Police stations
Schools
Churches
College campuses
Courthouses
Prisons
 Restaurants
McDonalds
Post offices
Hunting ambushes
Sniper attacks
Office buildings
Employment mass murdering
Banks
oh what about Bars
Ect ect ect

Or is another reason to be an anti-gun control
and a NRA nut,
YEAH BABY, that would be I.

this isn’t any different than mass  murder with a firearm against unarmed
victims.

And is being spinned conveniently into PROPAGANDA again

If everyone that is muslim is a terrorist, than everyone that is
an american must be a McDonald’s murderer, or a Postal murderer,
or a workplace murderer and so on and so on and so on?

So now everyone that is human is a murdering maniac in all semblance now?
I guess so because this is what this planet has opted to.

Insanity is more likely the explanation

Indeed, it's McCarthyism for the 21st century.
