Jeff Rubin has a new blog/column in the Globe and Mail, a Canadian newspaper with a national circulation.  Today's his second entry:

Jeff Rubin is the former head of CIBC World Markets.  He wrote a PO book last year, Why Your World Is About To Get A Whole Lot Smaller. He also has a website at jeffrubinssmallerworld.com.

It would be an enormous oversimplification to say that oil price 'caused' the world recession,
but the fact that the price spike and the economic crisis occurred at the same time is hardly meaningless coincidence.

Just discovered the Rubin blog on the G&M website; looking forward to this guy's future postings! As always, the comments section was interesting, full of the usual deniers and us doomers.
