It sounds like you worked this one out, Emeline. I agree with your choices. It's probably what I would have done, and naturally everyone gave good advice too.

I think the big lesson here is to remember - never take people at face value.  I swear to God some of the most respectable, good looking, apparently "classy", "ever so nice", "friendly", "kind" etc types (on the surface) are the WORST of the shysters and lowlifes.  They're the most dangerous because they have it down to an art form.  And they have no conscience.  I have seen them in action.  THEY HAVE NO CONSCIENCE. That's pretty hard for people with empathy to even understand or believe.

I had a crazy bitch steal my medication maybe a month or so ago. She was one of those "ever so nice" and "kind" types that acted like she was just the most innocent thing ever to roam Earth (as long as you were giving her all she wanted). I turned this place UPSIDE DOWN and I only keep the medication in 3 places. Bathroom, bedside or fridge. Last place I recalled putting it was the bathroom. It's an important one (tranquilizer!) so I keep up with it regularly. Well, it's gone. And she was the only person with access to my home at that time. No one else had been over. And she's on about 7 different psychiatric medications and they just took her off her tranquilizer a few months ago.  Roll Eyes Or maybe her crackhead boyfriend needs something to calm the crackhead nerves, who the fuck knows.

I hear she's had some runs of bad luck since and wants to move her ass back across the country where she comes from so daddy will support her. Not like me and my cauldron of doom would have anything to do with that.  Cool
