Just been thinkin'...

I dont have any religious belief and my concept of what God is, is so far from what most folks would think i guess it doesnt really count. But regarding a higher power?? Not so sure....

I was reading (with appalled fascination) the grandchild from hell original post while i was txting back and forth to my son who is having some stress in his life. While i was talking/reading/txting it occured to me that my Higher Power is my Family. We are more than the sum of our original parts...thats become very evident of late.

Anyone else feel that?... or am i just once again some freaky burnt out old hippy? Wink

lives and economy are entirely dependent on fossil fuel
((( is this too bold? )))
It would be an enormous oversimplification to say that oil price 'caused' the world recession,
but the fact that the price spike and the economic crisis occurred at the same time is hardly meaningless coincidence.

Echo, be sure.  There is a higher power.  It's within you.  It's in all things in the Universe and also outside of space and time.

Wanna know what/who it is?

(You'll have to say this to yourself, only then will you get it):

It's 'Me'.  'I' am the higher power.

Peace,

Ik

I believe we'll find out when the time is right. Why believe in anything other than each other? I like your philosophy you burnt out old hippie.  Grin
