I want to gather we Texan doomers, and plan on one if not more bug out locations central to us.  We can approve a site ahead of time, and possibly bury some preps there.  Is anyone else interested? I live in Austin, and I understand how big Texas is, so I am willing to consider locations 100, 150, maybe even 200 miles away.  So long as it's reachable on one tank of gas.

Hit me up lone stars!

I have been in discussion with Welding-Rod We are thinking of getting properties in the area south of Corsicana. ( about an hour south of Dallas).  He knows people there, and it could be the start of a community.  It would be great if other folks would join in.  Since I have been on this website, I have been looking to see if other people could be convinced to help with establishing a community when the world changes.  Would be a wonderful thing if some incredible people are there as well!

Myself and my girlfriend are interested, and I have a friend here with a girl who, at least to this point, says he is down.

Ideally, it would be nice to find a big ass piece of land we could parcel up.  I'm not some weirdo hippie who wants to get all "commune," so no worries there  Wink. Basically, I'd like a few acres, surrounded by other folks I trust who also have a few acres, and we all kind of help each other out with building/planting/harvesting when need be.

An hour south of Dallas works for me, because that's about 2 hours north.

PM me or Welding-rod and we can talk about this.  I talked with him 2 weeks ago that we need to set up a community.  He has already done the self sufficiency things. God bless him! He is an inspiration!.

Well, I don't think we plan on staying in TX for too much longer, but while I'm still here, I wouldn't mind helping out where possible... Corsicana is a long drive from San Antonio.
