This movie is worth seeing. I give it a thumbs up.  I saw this movie yesterday at the matinee - yes, half-price.

I went in there knowing nothing about it.  I was pleasantly surprised.  I saw it bc my kids (teenagers) said they wanted to see it.  So, like many movies, I saw it first without them to give parental approval. It is a lot like the original Blair Witch.  I liked the first Blair Witch, hated the sequel.  If you liked the first Blair Witch.  You will like Paranormal Activities. Like the original Blair Witch, this was a low budget movie (about $40k I heard) that is very effective.  It is scary, and I will not let my junior high kids see it yet, bc I'm afraid they will start sleeping in my room again.  Cheesy

I think I must have been 12-13 when I saw the Blair Witch Project with my older brother. Apparently I told my folks it was the scariest thing I had ever seen  Grin
But now, as I've grown older, I find that it's things like this that scares me most!

When I was little, I wanted a castle with ponies and knights. Now, as an adult, I want a subterranean bunker with an army of ninja's and a couple dozen tanks at my disposal.

This movie is WHAAACK!

It's pretty good in the beginning, gets kind of exciting in the middle, and then just let's you down completely at the end.

I LOVE horror movies.  This one gets a C, and that's being generous.
