Interesting, yes. Good personal dynamics, and I'm willing to ignore the technical flaws like no-lag videoconferencing between the ship and the earth.

ABC's dropped it from the schedule without even showing all the episodes. Let's hope a "complete episodes" DVD comes out at least.

Thanks a lot, deniers. You have willingly participated in a multi-decade campaign to line the pockets of your corporate and governmental masters, resulting in the destruction of our civilization. BAU forever, eh? Fuck You very much.

Hmm, I'm catching it every week. Space channel on satelite. So far 12 episodes. They just left Venus after a messed up landing mission. How many episodes have you seen? I just checked the ABC site, nothing mentioned there about it being cut.

OH crap you are right. The bastards canned it. All the sets are destroyed, and its history.

Why the fuck can't we have some decent Sci Fi instead of this dancing with zombie shit or Survivor XXI.  Angry

I was watching on Hulu. Since it got canceled, can you tell me what is the Beta thing in pod four? The last available episode had them all standing outside it, ready to go in. Do they even reveal it? Damn, I hate when shows get canceled mid-run.

The crew is finally told the real purpose of the grand tour. Beta is an alien entity that they found. It emits signals which have been matched to signals coming from several other planets in the system. (I'm kinda fuzzy on this as I haven't had time to watch them in sequence  Grin)

The mission is to go around and gather the other signal sources. Gamma is the one on Venus. The interesting thing is that only some of the crew can see Beta and hear it while some see and hear nothing.

Anyway the story was to continue on until they recovered all the sources as it was felt by the PTB that these aliens had some great importance to mankind and had to be found. The last episode was Zoe taking a walk on Venus at 460C and some unbelievable pressure in a suit guaranteed for 20 minutes and about 100 yards. Unfortunately, they landed quite a bit farther from Gamma than they should have. I'm not going to spoil it for you.

I suggest you install a torrent downloader like Azureus Vuze and download all 13 episodes. Its pretty fast and the quality is very good.

Im still pissed they cancelled it.
