Southern Alberta.

I will teach you the art of tracking wildlife.  I'm an ex fur-trapper, and following this made a very good living based on my tracking skills.

I'm an ex fur-trapper myself.  Never made any money doing it, but sure had a lot of good times.

Yes, it was very real, as opposed to most of what we end up doing.

I'm conflicted about it.  Learned lots of good life skills, but sure killed a lot of fine animals for no good reason ( = the market).
