With those prices you can get something else that is very good for them.
I know its hard, the kids want fast food once in a while, but if you have another place that has burgers, go there instead.
You never know what you are getting at Mc D.

I know Liz, lord I know. But around here they have these school support nights where if you go eat at McD's or Pizza Hut ..a portion of what you spent goes to the school. They then proceed to send your child home all excited about going there to eat with their fellow friends. I buckled this time ..I won't next time. That was beyond disgusting to pay that much for that crap.

I'm sorry you have to go through this, I pray for all you parents out there that have small kids in these trying times.  I remember having to do things like that, even though my youngest is 24, I still remember clearly.
I have to say, people raising kids in these times truly have their work cut out for them, has there ever been a worse time in history? when it comes to poisoned food Huh

Well - they're shutting down the police department where I own some farmland.  Bummer.

I don't know how doomy this is, but the lady cutting my hair yesterday said this week was the most hours she has gotten for a year.  A whopping 28 hours.  She's the manager of the store too.  Less people getting the highlights and extras.

Police department shuts down where haircut takes twenty eight hours to complete.  This highlight/extra provided courtesy of manager who states less people are getting highlight/extras.
This sounds doomy, but what headline would you give here?

Yeah there are some pretty big trends forming from what is being reported here and else where. Include the fact that cities are going to soon be completely screwed, because their the last to feel it in the government. On top of all this, the Federal government deficits are getting worse by the month, and they are desperate to pass this health care scheme, it is beyond me how that is going to be possible to pay for. This looks like the last throws before a collapse right ahead, within months. Locally, I'm also seeing beer going up at a pretty good clip, not the cheap beers, the local brewers and imports, etc..

The price of local beers is going up because of Hops shortages
