Just got a 2010 Taco dbl cab with off road features. Expensive, but solid! Best all around doomer truck out right now. I really worry about electrical issues with the older trucks; I can fix just about everything else. This one ought to be pretty reliable for the next few years, until I can't get fuel for it. JMHO Smiley

Congrats on your new Tacoma!  I too just purchased a new 2010.  Although it's a Nissan Frontier CC LE 4x4, not a Toyota Tacoma.  Great truck with loads of features and power.  I considered the Tacoma but I wanted all the toys (moonroof, leather seats, etc.).   As you said, fuel availability may be an issue in the near future but untin then, I'm rolling where the road takes me!
