We have threads on this already.  If I find them, I'll merge them.

Here is a tidbit on GOLD:

"The monetary storm coming by the end
of summer 2009 may encourage governments to exchange their foreign currency reserves, particularly
U.S. dollars, for gold".

The Chinese are already buying up commodities using foreign currency reserves (I think they are buying copper) and I recall that they paid way over market price for potash, not so long ago. LEAP might be wrong about the exact commodity that will be obtained, but possibly right about the use of foreign currency reserves to acquire commodities.

Pidgey,
What does the article on gold say?
It is referenced in this article and is hi-lighted on the right hand margin.

( Pacifikdreamer...I finally bought a Bob Dylan c.d. thanks to you guys. He is great. No wonder he's famous  Tongue)

Which one did you get?

My little phrase there is from "Time Out of Mind"

"Not Dark Yet" is an amazing song.  Glad you are enjoying arguably the greatest singer/songwriter of all time.
