Hello all,

My girlfriend, myself and possibly her sister and her boyfriend are planning a trip across country this summer.  We think it may be the last chance to do it while gas is cheap and I still have a job.  We plan to start in NY work our way south west hit CO, and AZ, then CA and on up the coast to Vancouver.  We will then take the Northern route back East.  We would love to see some doomsteads and will be more than eager to lend a hand for a day or two in exchange for some practical knowledge.  If you wouldn't mind me and my little gang camping out behind your home, and relish the idea of a little free labor please PM me.

Thank you,

hi there!
we have an ad called 'doomer wanted' in the classified. read it and the responses if you feel like it.
we would love it if you could come through here--we live in colorado--the south-somewhat eastern portion...near walsenburg.
pls email us at queendomgate@gmail.com for more details. what you are doing is a great thing. people with doomsteads and people who are nomads can really use eachother! we are currently building our doomstead on 35 acres. you are welcome.

I'm in Denver. I live in apartment right now, but you're welcome to camp in my living room! It's pretty roomy. I may have something better soon, some place out in the mountains. If you want to stay over or just stop and say hi, PM me.

Hi Frankie and Ellie,

I'm building a cabin in Washington state. It's about a half hour off of I-5 for your CA to Vancouver leg. The cabin won't be finished this summer but your more then welcome to camp on the land. There is also a RV park a mile or so down the road with laundry and showering services.

PM me,

mt

If you need a place in central WV you are welcome to stop by.  Plenty of woods to camp in and only a few miles from I-79 & I-64.  Stop by here on your way to Wordnerd's  Grin

Hello F&E,
You have inspired this my first post on the forum.
My family and I live on Guemes Island, about half way between Seattle amd Vancouver, B.C.
We have 10 acres on this beautiful little island where we have started our doomerstead.
If you find yourselves in this area and in need of some land to camp on, let me know.....
You are more than welcome.

I've got a doomstead about an hour drive from Seattle. Let me know if you might come this way.

The Road trip is off!

I'm getting married now, and we need to save some cash for the doomer wedding.

Tin Foil Hats and everything.

Thank you all for extending an invitation to camp on your land.

I really appreciate it.

If you are heading through Oregon, I live in a really nice RV park outside McMinnville.  While I can't offer a place to stay, I can recommend where *I* stay if you cannot find anywhere else, and want to BBQ, swim in the pool and have a real shower.

Oh, I see that you are getting married instead.  A trip of a different kind, lol.  Best wishes to both of you!

Tinfoil hats, 25 lb bags of rice thrown at your feet as you exit the church, and 5 gallon plastic buckets tied to the back of your car as you drive off!
